€ 85.00 per person which includes the tasting of 6 different wines (including a traditional Barolo, two single Cru Vigna modern method and a Barolo Chinato) combined with the 4 courses of lunch.This tasting is a must that cannot be missed by the real Barolo amateurs and for those who visit our area just to find out why this wine has become so famous all over the world. We will analyze the differences between the two main areas of the territory which, thanks to different soils, exposures and microclimates, or the terroirs, give us Barolos with different shades and tannins. The "terroir" tasting entitles you to a 5% discount on any purchase of wine and typical products and a nice gift.

DO YOU HAVE DISCOUNTS FOR GROUPS?

We provide a 5% discount for groups over 6 people, the discount is automatically applied to the registration of the 8 people participating. But we want to keep a private dimension of our visit to the cellar with lunch and therefore the location has a maximum capacity of 20 people so there are never large numbers of participants.

HOW IT WORKS

The experience is unique and unforgettable, so much so that many people, once tried it, wanted to give it as a gift to their closest friends and relatives.

The offer is divided into two parts:

1) 11:30 am Visit to the cellar, to the vineyards and production / aging rooms at the Annunziata di La Morra.

The first part includes a visit to the historic Giachini vineyard, which surrounds the property, during which the various processes for the cultivation of the vine are explained. From the vineyard you then enter the garden and continue inside the cellar through the various dedicated rooms to the processes of wine making and bottling. Then reaching the final aging and display rooms of the historic bottles in the seventeenth-century farmhouse that belonged to the bishop's curia of Alba. You will visit one of the most historic wineries in the Langa del Barolo, founded in 1908.

The visit starts at 11:30 and lasts about an hour.

 

2) 13:00 lunch with wine tasting in Barolo at the renovated historic cellar.

The visit ends at 12:30 and lunch starts at 13:00.

For the second part we move to the historic center of Barolo, at what was, at the end of the 19th century, the first social cellar of Barolo and then the cellar of the Germano family from the 1930s, where lunch with wines is served. The courses are four and include a taste of: an appetizer, a first course, a second course and a dessert, ideal for those who want to explore the pairing of wines by tasting many delicious dishes, each symbol of a traditional recipe. The dishes, prepared with fresh products from the Bosco delle Galline Volanti farm and other local farms, make the tasting particularly authentic and with an eye to km0.

The dishes, always seasonal, give the opportunity to wander into the ancient Piedmontese food and wine culture. Our research aims at the rediscovery of recipes of other times but selecting them with today's criteria (lighter and healthier ingredients) and bringing them back to a more credible peasant context. To give an example, we make the classic ravioli del plin but it is unlikely that families could afford beef, it is much more likely that they used poultry and so are born the plin with chicken filling. A cuisine that seeks to preserve a collective heritage. Each dish, as well as each wine, will be told in its organoleptic characteristics but also through the history and anecdotes behind it.
