The Wood of flying hens

We are based in the center of Barolo, in the renovated premises which, at the end of 1800, were the first social cellar of Barolo. An iconic location for the history of this wine.

The premises host the restaurant of our farm where dishes are served made from vegetables from our synergistic garden and with ingredients from the network of small farms "i Giusti Factors" and family wines from the Germano winery.

In the special tasting room you can participate in masterclasses or real guided lunches to discover the combinations between the fine wines of the Langhe and the excellent typical products of the area. Check out the calendar of events.

We also organize visits to the historic family winery, the Germano Angelo founded in 1908 and based in the former seventeenth-century bishop's farms of La Morra. On this site you can also buy gift vouchers for this experience, look at the various possibilities.

The Bosco delle Galline Volanti is an innovative farm, we grow vegetables, small fruits and herbs with natural methods. In our headquarters in Barolo you will find a small shop with our fresh products or even transformed into jams, pickles, fermented etc ...

The gardens and food forest are located at the Annunziata di la Morra and we organize visits with lunch on Friday morning at 10:00. We are an educational farm certified by the Piedmont Region and our premises host the small path on soil fertility called Nhumus, find out more.

I was casually sliding the Facebook Home, when I see a post that sounds like this: "To all those who have a garden: if you find this caterpillar (swallowtail) warn me ... I come to take it! I need it for an educational project at school. My students and me will take care of it. It will become a beautiful butterfly and then will be liberated in nature. Thank you!" with the image of a caterpillar looking round and soft, which presented wonderful colors: fluorescent green, neon orange, black and white.
